Our Concepts
Blending Tradition and Modernity
Invite creatives from visual arts, music, and literature to co-create an immersive exhibition. Traditional Japanese calligraphers collaborate with electronic music producers to transform calligraphy into dynamic visual projections, accompanied by live improvised music. Writers draw inspiration from coastal Japanese legends to craft short stories integrated into the exhibition’s audio guide. This project sparks creative collisions, showcasing Japan’s cultural diversity and modern innovation.
Cross-Disciplinary Creative Camp
Host a creative camp in a coastal natural setting, inviting photographers, poets, and environmental artists. Photographers capture misty onsen and coastal landscapes, poets write verses inspired by nature, and environmental artists create temporary installations using local materials. The resulting works will be compiled into online and physical showcases, highlighting how creativity draws from nature and fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue.
Multimedia Storytelling Project
Bring together animators, playwrights, and folk storytellers to reimagine legends from Japan’s Shogun era. Animators design visualized characters and settings, playwrights craft modern scripts, and storytellers weave narratives with local cultural context. The final output will include short animated films and live performances, engaging audiences with a fusion of traditional and contemporary creativity.
